The Guardians of Thau suspect that this pollution comes from the emptying and cleaning of boat tanks, highlighting the inaction and absence of control, investigation and reporting on the part of the authorities. The association also criticizes the lack of responsiveness of Port Sud de France, manager of the port and canals. She deplores the lack of commitment of the Sète police station in handling environmental complaints and expresses her dissatisfaction with the letters and complaints which seem to be neglected.
