Ida, Happy Valley, Thou Wast Mild And Lovely win in Sarasota

The Sarasota Film Festival announced all the winners for jury and audience awards at this year’s event. Ida won the Narrative Feature Competition, Happy Valley won the Documentary Feature Competition and Thou Wast Mild and Lovely earned the Independent Visions Prize.

But a variety of special awards for standout performances by individuals and ensembles on screen also were noted, and audience votes also led to some awards getting handed out. A full list of awards is below the fold.
