Director Andrea Sisson promises an artful experience at the screening of short film The Vision Quest. “It’s an original fable about two extremely nearsighted men wandering across a mystical land in search of food and inspiration,” Sisson says. “The story is influenced by the epic ‘video game prologue’ with a soundtrack from Ólafur Arnalds (Iceland) and Charles Watson (from London band, Slow Club).”
The work was enough to impress Filmmaker Magazine, which last year included Sisson and directing partner Pete Ohs among the “25 Faces for 2013.”
The Vision Quest screens as part of the Shorts 4: Narrative program, screening today, April 8, at 2pm.
